Payments

HSA

I accept all Healthcare Savings Account debit cards as forms of payment

Medical Insurance

I do not take insurance directly. However, depending on your current health insurance provider, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.

A reimbursement superbill can be provided at no cost.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please cancel at least 24 hours beforehand.

Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.

DETERMINE YOUR BENEFITS

Questions for your provider

I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  1. Can you tell me the call reference number and name of whom I’m speaking to?
  2. Does my health insurance plan include “out of network” mental health benefits? If so, how much do they reimburse for mental health services?
  3.  How do you define telehealth services? (What’s included, does it have to be a live video?)
  4.  Is there a specific billing code that should be used?
  5. Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it, and have I met it yet?
  6. Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
  7. Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
  8. Does the service require any special documentation from the counselor?

It is always the client’s responsibility to know and verify their own benefits. The client is responsible for anything that insurance doesn’t cover.

Please contact me with any other questions you have. I look forward to hearing from you!
